How BramptonBaseball.com verifies leagues, schedules, standings, tournaments, qualifiers and provincial information.
We separate durable structure from volatile operational data. The site explains how competition works; official live systems control dates, scores, standings, draws and last-minute changes.
Source hierarchy
- Official organizer live system: COBA or Baseball Ontario schedule/draw.
- Official local association: BMBI team/program announcements.
- Official municipality: stable venue/facility facts.
- Secondary sources: used only when primary evidence is unavailable and clearly identified.
What we do not hard-code as evergreen
- Tonight’s game time.
- Current standings.
- Unreleased tournament draws.
- Last-minute field changes.
- Future host assignments not officially confirmed.
When a dated page is justified
A dated event can earn a permanent reference page when it is locally significant, officially documented and adds durable context—such as Brampton hosting a provincial championship. The page must clearly label the date and route readers to live sources.
Review trigger
Competition structure pages are reviewed when BMBI, COBA or Baseball Ontario materially changes program structure, naming, qualification or rule frameworks.
